Social Interactions Between People In Tajur Village

Abstract

This research refers to the social interaction between Tajur Village residents. Social interaction in Tajur Village plays an essential role in everyday life. Tajur Village has cultural and environmental characteristics that contribute to the dynamics of social interaction. In social life as social beings certainly need interaction with one another. This study aims to provide information about the interactions in Tajur Village and the factors that influence them. This study uses a qualitative method with the theory of John Lewis Gillin and Philip Gillin through an observation approach to the residents of Dukuh Karangasem, Tajur Village, through interviews and documentation. The results show that the interactions that occur in Tajur Village can be said to be going well (associative) through a lot of social contact activities, including: between individuals (interaction with family, Etc.), individuals and groups (teachers with their students, Etc.), between groups ( Inter-hamlet competitions, Etc.). The main factors that influence the process of social interaction in Tajur Village are cultural, geographical, and economic factors.
