Abstract

UMKM adalah usaha ekonomi produktif yang dijalankan oleh individu atau badan usaha yang berukuran kecil. Sehingga UMKM dapat disimpulkan sebagai usaha ekonomi yang dilakukan oleh masyarakat kalangan menengah ke bawah. Dalam UMKM terdapat beberapa kriteria seperti Jenis komoditi/ barang,Tempat menjalankan usaha, dan sebagainya seperti yang disebutkan diatas. Adapun Peran UMKM bagi perekonomian ialah meningkatkan peluang kerja, mendorong perekonomian lebih merata, meningkatkan devisa, dan memenuhi kebutuhan secara tepat sasaran.
