Abstract

Dalam iman Kristen kerja adalah bagian dari hakikat manusia. hakikat manusia itu terletak dalam kesengambaran dengan Allah. Allah adalah seorang pekerja. Kerja sebagai hakikat, melekat dalam diri manusia. manusia dan kerja adalah dua eksistensi yang mustahil dipisahkan. Selain itu bekerja adalah perintah Tuhan yang disampaikan berkali-kali dalam Alkitab. Dengan bekerja seseorang mewujudnyatakan kasih kepada Tuhan dan sesamanya. Orang Toraja adalah pekerja yang ulet, tekun dan rajin. Ketekunan orang toraja memiliki dasar bahwa dapat Membali Puang. Dengan membali puang membangun pemahaman bahwa dapat hidup kembali, yang menjadi rotasi kehidupan.
