Abstract

Simpanan wadi’ah dapat diartikan sebagai titipan murni dari satu pihak ke pihak lain, baik individu maupun badan hukum yang harus dijaga dan dikembalikan kapan saja penyimpan menghendakinya . Tujuan dari akad wadi’ahini yaitu menjaga keselamatan barang yang dititipkan dari kehilangan, kerusakan, pencurian dan lain sebagainya. Apabila ada kerugian investasi dari dana wadi’ah, maka kerugian tersebut ditanggung pihak bank. Namun apabila ada keuntungan yang timbul akibat kegiatan investasi yang berasal dari dana wadi’ah, maka sepenuhnya keuntungan tersebut milik bank.
