PERILAKU MAKAN HAMSTER (Mesocricetus auratus) JANTAN DAN BETINA DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN 3 JENIS PAKAN

Abstract

Pemahaman tentang perilaku perlu diketahui untuk dapat menguasai ilmu atau pengetahuan tentang ekologi populasi dan pakan dalam rangka untuk mendapatkan keahlian dalam pembinaan populasi. Hamster merupakan hewan pengerat tergolong hewan ordo rodentia. Hamster syaria termasuk salah satu hewan populer peliharaan kecil. Metode yang digunakan yaitu menggunakan metode scan animal sampling dan ad libitum. Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa hamster jantan lebih menyukai paken pelet sedangkan betina lebih menyukai pakan pelet mix sayur toge, tetapi hamster jantan dan betina kurang menyukai pakan pelet mix daging ikan hal ini dikarenakan Karena hamster merupakan jenis hewan pengerat sangat mempengaruhi jenis makanannya, sehingga hamster lebih menyukai makanan yang kering seperti, sayur, buah, ataupun makanan yang sedikit keras.
