Abstract

Pada dasarnya, pengelolaan koperasi yang profesional adalah didasari oleh kemampuan pengurus atau manajemen koperasi untuk menjalankan keputusan dan kebijakan yang sudah dibuat secara demokratis dalam Rapat Anggota Koperasi dan ditunjang oleh pengawasan yang kontinu atas realisasi dan implementasi kebijakan-kebijakan tersebut. Koperasi sebagai suatu sistem ekonomi, mempunyai kedudukan (politik) yang cukup kuat karena memiliki dasar konstitusional, yaitu berpegang pada Pasal 33 UUD 1945, khususnya Ayat 1 yang menyebutkan bahwa Perekonomian disusun sebagai usaha bersama berdasar atas asas kekeluargaan.
