Rancang Bangun Protipe Aplikasi Berbasis Cloud Computing untuk UKM Jasa Logistik_SAINTEK_2013

Abstract

Pemanfaatan Teknologi Informasi (TI) di perusahaan jasa logistik skala kecil dan menengah masih sangat minim. Data yang ada menyebutkan bahwa 80% perusahaan jasa logistik lokal di Indonesia belum memanfaatkan TI dalam membantu menjalankan bisnisnya. Penguasaan teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi ini amat bermanfaat bagi pengembangan internal perusahaan, serta keperluan inter connections dengan pasar dan suppliers. Penguasaan teknologi informasi dan telekomunikasi, sesungguhnya tidak hanya terbatas pada kapabilitas teknis, tetapi juga, yang lebih penting lagi adalah, kaitannya dengan efektifvitas perencanaan dan kemampuan organisasional. Penelitian ini akan mengembangkan aplikasi pergudangan dan distribusi berbasis RFID kemudian dikostumisasi sesuai dengan reference model (blue print) UKM klaster industri Jasa Logistik. Prototipe aplikasi tersebut kemudian di-hosting pada server untuk kemudian dimanfaatkan dengan menggunakan teknologi Cloud Computing oleh perusahaan jasa logistik mitra. Dengan menggunakan teknologi Cloud Computing ini, maka perusahaan jasa logistik skala kecil dan menengah tidak harus mengeluarkan investasi besar dalam bidang TI yang membutuhkan besar.
