Analisis Pengaruh Tingkat Inflasi Terhadap Tingkat Pengangguran Di Kota Medan

Abstract

Secara umum penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh tingkat inflasi terhadap pengangguran di Kota Medan periode tahun 2005-2014. Data dari penelitian ini diperoleh dari Badan Pusat Statistik. Jenis data yang digunakan adalah data sekunder selama periode tahun 2005-2014. Alat analisis data yang digunakan yaitu metode regresi linear berganda,uji t dan uji koefisien determinasi dengan bantuan program komputer SPSS Versi 21. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa tingkat inflasi memiliki pengaruh negatif dan tidak signifikan terhadap pengangguran. Hal ini membuktikan bahwa teori kurva Philips tidak bisa diterapkan di Kota Medan
