Abstract

This research was conducted to analyze the impact of promotional cost to number of tourist visit on tourism object and attraction in Makassar city. This research was conducted to analyze the relation between two variables; the amount of promotional cost and the number of tourists visit. The types of data in this analysis was quantitative and qualitative. The data was collected by doing observation, interview, and literature study. Method of investigation in this analysis was correlation, determination and regresion. The result of this research is promotional cost had a relation with a number of tourists visit Makassar city. From determination analysis was obtained number tourists visit which was impected by the promotional cost. Then from regression analysis was obtained is amount of promotional cost was about 1.000.000 so it also gave impact to the increase of number of tourists visit which was about 4.308.206 tourists. It can be conclude that there was positive impact of promotional cost to the number of tourists visit in Makassar city. It is suggested to relation and tourism departement of Makassar city to defend and increase the promotional cost and to doing good promotion with effective market.
