Dinamika Implementasi E-Voting di Berbagai Negara

Abstract

Tata cara memilih di dalam pemilihan umum di dunia saat ini berkembang karena tata cara memilih diperluas dari sebelumnya yang hanya bersifat manual menjadi elektronik. Saat ini sebagian negara di dunia terjadi pergeseran cara menggunakan hak pilih dari sebelumnya memilih identik dengan kertas dan paku untuk mencoblos menjadi menggunakan mesin pemilihan dan beberapa di antaranya mirip dengan mesin Anjungan Tunai Mandiri (ATM) sebuah bank. Teta cara memilih dengan menggunakan bantuan teknologi itulah yang dikenal dengan sebutan electronic voting atau disingkat e-voting. Penerapan e-voting di negara-negara di dunia tidaklah selalu dapat diterima dengan mudah dan berjalan dengan baik. Tidak jarang yang terjadi malah justru sebaiknya, yaitu mendapat penolakan dari masyarakat atau elite politik dan atau mengalami kegagalan dalam pelaksanaannya sehingga menjadi tidak dipercaya oleh masyarakat luas.
