Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the handling of receivables at BMT Amanah Ray. This research uses descriptive method of analyzing the data by identifying, collecting, clarify, analyze and interpret the resulting clear picture of the accounts receivable control against the risk of bad debts. To obtain the necessary data, the authors used observation and interview techniques. Data used primary data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that in assessing the credit risk, the BMT Amanah Ray implement 5C (Capacity, Character, Capital, Collateral, Conditions). Credit analysis is intended to provide an overview for BMT to provide accounts to its customers in making payments in accordance with a predetermined time. Policies BMT Amanah Ray in menagani bad debt or uncollectible very neatly and clearly organized. Thus, it can be concluded that the control of the receivables on the BMT Amanah Ray has been going well.
