Cargos de interconexion en redes de telecomunicaciones: desarrollos recientes

Abstract

Este documento de trabajo presenta una revision de la literatura reciente en interconexion de redes y determinacion de cargos de interconexion. Atencion especial ha sido puesta en temas de la investigacion actual: interconexion de redes cuando estas enfrentan demandas heterogeneas, y cuando estas mantienen pol?ticas de discriminacion de precios por destino de llamadas. Estos aspectos son relevantes para entender la experiencia peruana en la industria de las telecomunicaciones. Adicionalmente, este documento presenta un ejercicio de estatica comparativa basado en un enfoque reducido de competencia entre redes, para analizar el impacto de los cargos de interconexi´on en un mercado de donde las redes reciben llamadas originadas en una red externa.
