Abstract

El presente documento tiene como objetivo estudiar el funcionamiento de los Operadores Moviles Virtuales (OMV) y los efectos que su entrada tendria en el mercado, sobre la base de la teoria y de la experiencia en diversos paises. Adicionalmente, se estudiara como se dio el ingreso de este tipo de operadores a los mercados móviles de diferentes países donde estos funcionan, y se presentará las modificaciones normativas que los gobiernos respectivos implementaron para promover su entrada o permitir su funcionamiento. Sobre la base de ello, se formulará recomendaciones de política sobre los eventuales cambios normativos que sería necesario implementar para que este tipo de operadores pueda funcionar adecuadamente en el mercado peruano.
