Abstract

We are pleased to submit the third report to the Charity Commission for England and Wales, OHE’s second since becoming a registered charity in December 2016. OHE obtained its charitable status in 2016, an essential achievement towards OHE’s development as a health economics research organisation. The report of 2021 demonstrates some of the ways in which OHE has worked to achieve its charitable objectives of advancing the education of the public in general/health care payers/policy makers on the subject of health economics and health care policy; and using health economics methods to produce evidence-based health policy and health care management that contributes to a more efficient and effective health care system.
