Les établissements d'enseignement en milieu urbain : Un statut particulier ?

Dans la plupart des pays et économies, les élèves scolarisés en milieu urbain sont en général plus performants que les autres élèves. Le statut socio-économique n’explique qu’une partie de l’écart de performance entre les élèves scolarisés en milieu urbain et les autres élèves. Les établissements d’enseignement situés en milieu urbain sont plus grands, bénéficient en général de meilleures ressources éducatives et jouissent souvent d’une plus grande autonomie dans l’affectation de ces ressources.
