Comment les taux de scolarisation des femmes dans l’enseignement supérieur et leurs choix de domaines d’études ont-ils évolué au fil du temps ?

Abstract

La participation des femmes à l’enseignement supérieur dépasse désormais celle des hommes. Elles sont toutefois sous-représentées depuis toujours dans certains domaines et continuent de l’être : les femmes sont ainsi majoritaires dans les domaines de l’éducation et de la santé et de la protection sociale, et les hommes, dans ceux des sciences, de la technologie, de l’ingénierie et des mathématiques. Enfin, quel que soit le domaine d’études choisi, les revenus des femmes restent inférieurs à ceux des hommes, et ce dans tous les pays membres ou partenaires de l’OCDE.
