Abstract

Pour la construction de sa plus récente école située au Québec (Canada), la Commission scolaire des Grandes-Seigneuries, qui se distingue depuis longtemps par sa maîtrise de l’énergie, voulait relever le défi de réaliser un projet particulièrement efficient, aux émissions de gaz à effet de serre voisines de zéro. Sur le plan architectural, une accumulation de moyens simples à la portée de tous servent à diminuer les besoins énergétiques. Ce projet de « démonstration » fait de l’école du Tournant une des plus performantes du Canada. L’initiateur du concept raconte.
