Abstract

L’an dernier, le Department for Education and Employment (DfEE, ministère de l’Éducation et de l’Emploi) du Royaume- Uni a élaboré des propositions concernant un programme de conception de bâtiments scolaires, qui s’est fait connaître par la suite sous le nom de Classes de l’avenir. Il a pour objectif la mise sur pied de plusieurs projets pilotes qui permettront d’étudier sous tous leurs aspects différentes possibilités architecturales pour la prestation de l’enseignement au XXIe siècle. Les leçons tirées des projets contribueront à orienter la conception future des écoles.
