L'assurance maladie privée dans les pays en développement : une solution pour les pauvres ?

Abstract

Le financement des soins de santé est un défi majeur pour les pays en développement, avant tout parce que ce sont les plus pauvres qui pâtissent des déficiences des systèmes de santé nationaux. Les mécanismes financiers novateurs, tels que l’assurance maladie privée, comportent à la fois des bénéfices et des risques. Leur mise en place demande une grande prudence de la part des décideurs, qui doivent réfléchir à une réglementation adaptée afin d’optimiser leurs conséquences bénéfiques en matière de santé.
