Análisis de la Interacción entre los Determinantes de la Ambigüedad Causal: Especificidad, Complejidad y Carácter Tácito

Abstract

Este trabajo profundiza- sobre la base del modelo de Reed y DeFillippi (1990)- en las relaciones existentes entre tres características que debe poseer un recurso para generar ambigüedad causal y crear barreras a la imitación, es decir, en el carácter tácito del conocimiento, la complejidad de las decisiones y la especificidad de los recursos. Las conclusiones del trabajo se resumen en dos proposiciones 1) las decisiones de problemas complejos individuales o colectivos están positivamente asociados con el proceso de acumulación del conocimiento tácito y 2) la especificidad de los activos se relaciona directamente con la complejidad del proceso de toma de decisiones. En esencia, se argumenta que los factores de “complejidad” y “carácter tácito” pueden ser parcialmente analizados en función del carácter específico que tiene el recurso.
