Abstract

Frente a la tendencia a la privatizaci¢n del sector p£blico espa¤ol y europeo en las £ltimas d‚cadas, destaca una evoluci¢n inversa en el mbito regional, concretamente en Castilla y Le¢n. En este contexto, el objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar la influencia de la participaci¢n p£blica en la eficiencia de estas empresas, y la posible inexistencia de justificaci¢n para las mismas desde el punto de vista econ¢mico. Pretende tambi‚n comparar las diferencias de eficiencia entre empresas p£blicas y empresas participadas. Igualmente trata de estudiar la importancia del nivel de competitividad del sector, independientemente del grado de participaci¢n p£blica en el capital.
