Eficiencia de las Empresas Públicas y Participadas. El caso de Castilla y León

Abstract

Frente a la tendencia a la privatización del sector público español y europeo en las últimas décadas, destaca una evolución inversa en el ámbito regional, concretamente en Castilla y León. En este contexto, el objetivo del presente trabajo es analizar la influencia de la participación pública en la eficiencia de estas empresas, y la posible inexistencia de justificación para las mismas desde el punto de vista económico. Pretende también comparar las diferencias de eficiencia entre empresas públicas y empresas participadas. Igualmente trata de estudiar la importancia del nivel de competitividad del sector, independientemente del grado de participación pública en el capital.
