ICT Usage in Higher Education: A Descriptive Analysis in Spanish Unive rsities

Abstract

Information and communication technologies (ICT) represent a source of competitive advantage for an organization. In particular, the expansion of ICT knowledge and experience in higher education is a key component of an educational reform agenda. This paper reports findings about which factors influence on the ICT usage in this context. Results confirm that graduates' experiences with some particular technologies in education are related to gender, area of expertise and University of origin.
