El patrón de crecimiento de los sectores de la economía argentina: período 1994-1998

Abstract

Muchos economistas han estudiado los patrones de crecimiento de las economías mundiales. Incluso se ha determinado que Argentina durante los noventas creció de manera intensiva. Sin embargo, prácticamente no existen estudios de este tipo con un mayor grado de desagregación, que sean capaces de brindar información acerca de cuáles son los sectores que contribuyen en mayor o en menor medida a la generación del patrón de crecimiento agregado. La metodología convencional utilizada es la contabilidad del crecimiento, que permite descomponer la tasa de variación del producto en tres partes, las que corresponden: al cambio en la cantidad de trabajo aplicado al proceso productivo, a la acumulación de capital y finalmente al cambio tecnológico. Se concluye que existe una gran disparidad entre los tipos de patrones de crecimiento de los sectores de la economía argentina. La cual es provocada fundamentalmente por factores de tipo micro y macroeconómicos, como así también por las políticas específicas aplicadas a los distintos sectores.
