Gestión de la incertidumbre en los negocios. Aplicaciones de la matemática borrosa

Abstract

En la actualidad, las principales obras sobre gestión de negocios no incluyen las posibles aplicaciones de la matemática borrosa en el tratamiento de la incertidumbre. Es así como resultan incompletas para aquellos que, actuando en organizaciones, desean dominar técnicas específicas para hechos inciertos sin ser especialistas en "metodología fuzzy" y sus derivaciones. Este libro, siguiendo los pasos de la comunidad científica mundial en lo que hace a la reformulación del paradigma del tratamiento de la incertidumbre, analiza la incidencia directa de la imprecisión sobre las disciplinas contables y administrativas, principalmente en lo que se refiere a la gestión de negocios. Considerando esos aspectos, presenta un ordenamiento de los temas que permite, en forma progresiva, avanzar desde los aspectos instrumentales hasta las aplicaciones concretas. El objetivo consiste en brindar las herramientas básicas que deberían utilizar tanto los cuadros gerenciales como los graduados en ciencias económicas, para hacer frente a las dificultades de previsión y estimación inherentes a su tarea específica de brindar información para la toma de decisiones en contextos inciertos.
