El sudeste bonaerense. Caracterización del área de estudio

Abstract

En el presente capítulo proponemos describir el área de estudio considerada para nuestras tareas de investigación, partiendo de una escala más amplia -la región pampeana- para luego abordar la configuración territorial y la organización del sudeste de la provincia de Buenos Aires. De este modo, buscamos revisar aspectos espaciales e históricos del recorte territorial analizado en esta sección del libro, con especial énfasis en la caracterización sociodemográfica y agroproductiva. En los capítulos siguientes, estas particularidades serán profundizadas median- te la aplicación de las propuestas detalladas en el Capítulo 4 acerca de la medición de la ruralidad y del bienestar social.
