Sustento socio-institucional de la actividad turística

Abstract

El concepto sustento socio-institucional comprende el estudio de la dinámica de las instituciones a partir del rol que desempeñan los diferentes actores sociales que representan al sector público, privado y tercer sector, trabajando en forma articulada y coordinada para alcanzar el desarrollo del sector turístico de una comunidad. Bajo esta postura, la gestión turística local se transforma en un eje esencial del desarrollo e implica la formulación e implementación de una política y su correspondiente planificación, coordinación y articulación con otros organismos oficiales, así como la fijación y aplicación de estándares para instalaciones y servicios turísticos, mercadotecnia, capacitación y concienciación, desarrollo del sector, búsqueda de alternativas ante situaciones de crisis, etc.
