Actividades en simultáneo al cuidado de los niños: un análisis de las diferencias de género

Abstract

La evidencia internacional indica que la brecha de género en el tiempo destinado al trabajo total es significativamente amplia cuando se considera el multitasking, definido como la realización de más de una tarea en simultáneo, especialmente en hogares con niños. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las diferencias de género en las actividades de cuidado de los niños, considerando la simultaneidad en Argentina, empleando los datos de la Encuesta Nacional de Uso del Tiempo (ENUT, 2021). Resultados preliminares indican que las mujeres destinan más tiempo que los hombres al cuidado de los niños, especialmente cuando se realiza en simultáneo con otras tareas.
