Antecedentes de la modalidad turismo de reuniones a partir del origen y evolución del turismo en Europa Occidental: un análisis para una primera aproximación

Abstract

Si bien existen datos estadísticos a escala global y nacional estructurados en documentos como anuarios estadísticos, resultan dispersos los datos que den cuenta de los antecedentes del turismo de reuniones. La investigación busca recopilar hechos históricos de Europa Occidental, para el período 1900-2019, que podrían estar vinculados a dicha modalidad e identificar aquellos cuyos motivos de viaje es asistir a reuniones las cuales se encontrarían asociadas a las categorías actuales del turismo de reuniones. Para alcanzar dicho objetivo se plantea una investigación de tipo documental basada en la comprensión y sistematización de conocimiento con la intención de generar nuevos saberes. Se espera plantear potenciales relaciones entre datos históricos y la dinámica actual del turismo de reuniones.
