El mercado laboral argentino y el proceso de formación de los salarios reales durante el período 2003-2019

Abstract

En el presente trabajo se estudia la evolución de los salarios reales en la Argentina para el período comprendido entre los años 2003 y 2019. Asimismo, con el propósito de elaborar un diagnóstico de los mecanismos que subyacen en los procesos de formación del salario real, se analiza la vinculación que exhibe la estructura salarial con determinadas variables macroeconómicas y con los principales indicadores del mercado de trabajo. Los principales resultados permiten inferir acerca de la insuficiencia de la teoría neoclásica para dar cuenta del comportamiento del mercado de trabajo durante el período bajo análisis y exhortan acerca de la necesidad de incorporar esquemas teóricos alternativos que consideren otros factores sociales políticos e institucionales.
