¿Recursos literarios para la educación emocional? El monstruo de los colores como "tecnología del yo" para la primera infancia

Abstract

El monstruo de los colores, de Ana Llenas, con una veintena de ediciones, constituye un éxito editorial en un reciente giro de las apropiaciones utilitaristas de la literatura infantil: la autoayuda infantil en diálogo con la educación emocional. En este artículo proponemos un recorrido por dicho libro álbum, de masiva presencia en las aulas de nivel inicial. La reforma del Diseño Curricular de dicho nivel en 2019 reforzó y legitimó este campo de saber con un discurso de gran aceptación popular, que asocia el control individual de las emociones al éxito personal y, como contraparte, la incapacidad para controlarlas, al fracaso. Estos dispositivos y las prácticas pedagógicas asociadas a ellos constituyen "tecnologías del yo" en las que se identifica una continuidad discursiva con la emergencia de la literatura de autoayuda en el marco del neoliberalismo.
