¿La trabajadora no tiene quien le escriba? Representaciones de las trabajadoras de casas particulares en la prensa escrita en el marco de la sanción de la Ley 26844, Argentina

Abstract

En este artículo se propone una aproximación a los aspectos simbólicos del proceso de reconocimiento de derechos laborales en el sector de casas particulares en Argentina a través de las noticias en la prensa escrita, en el contexto de debate y sanción de la Ley 26844, en 2013. Se observará que aún en el marco de políticas pro- motoras de la equidad, la voz propia y el reconocimiento de las trabajadoras como el sujeto de la noticia están excluidos del discurso. Esa elisión las coloca en una ciudadanía incompleta en términos simbólicos, ya que sus voces están ausentes tanto como parte interesada, receptora o emisora del mensaje.
