El impacto de la pandemia sobre la participación e inserción laboral de mujeres y varones en Mar del Plata y Argentina

Abstract

El objetivo de esta ponencia es analizar el impacto de la pandemia sobre el mercado de trabajo argentino y su incidencia en Mar del Plata, habida cuenta la situación laboral, los condicionantes y el contexto macroeconómico que acaecían en nuestra sociedad a inicios de 2020 debido a las políticas implementadas entre 2016 y 2019. El abordaje se realiza a partir de la evolución de: las tasas básicas del mercado de trabajo, las proporción de las principales categorías ocupacionales y la cantidad de trabajo registrado, segmentando la información por sexo para dar cuenta de las posibles diferencias por motivos de género que se pueden haber generado en el contexto de pandemia.
