La reconfiguración del mercado de trabajo de Mar del Plata en tiempos de cambio macroeconómico (2011-2019)

Abstract

En este trabajo se propone dar cuenta del impacto de las políticas macroeconómicas actuales sobre el mercado de trabajo marplatense. En Argentina, a partir de diciembre del año 2015 se fueron implementando una serie de políticas públicas que impactaron en forma negativa sobre el bienestar de la población. A través indicadores específicos por sexo, tasas de empleo estandarizadas, tasas de densidad ocupacional segmentadas por quintiles de ingreso, y los cambios en las estructuras distributivas del ingreso de la ocupación principal, se presentan evidencias que estarían dando cuenta del efecto trabajador adicional. En definitiva, más mujeres decidieron realizar una actividad remunerada como forma de complementar o bien sustituir el ingreso de los hogares. Sin embargo, como sucede generalmente en los países de la región, los trabajos en que se insertan son propios del sector informal o bien de autoempleo precario.
