El mercado interno de productos pesqueros marinos enfriados: Puerto de Mar del Plata, principal proveedor

Abstract

El puerto de Mar del Plata es el principal proveedor de productos pesqueros con destino al mercado interno, anualmente, se envían desde el puerto de Mar del Plata al mercado interno más de 190 productos enfriados. El 89% de las toneladas y 91% del valor de los productos marplatenses con destino al mercado interno corresponden a productos enfriados y congelados (promedio 1992/2008), el resto se distribuye entre conservas, salados y harina. El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar la tendencia de crecimiento que presenta el mercado interno de productos enfriados comercializados desde la ciudad de Mar del Plata y las perspectivas en el mediano plazo, considerando el estado actual de explotación de los recursos pesqueros utilizados como materia prima.
