Evolución de la flota pesquera argentina 1960-2015. Primera parte

Abstract

Durante el año 2013 se actualizó la información sobre la flota hasta el año 2012 en un Informe realizado para el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo y solicitado por el Proyecto de Desarrollo pesquero y acuícola sustentable (AR-L1159) - inédito a la fecha. En este documento se actualiza la información hasta el año 2015, se estiman las productividades físicas por tipo de flota industrial y se presentan los resultados para el periodo 1990-2015. La productividad media física se calculó con respecto a los buques, como kilos desembarcados por día de marea por buque y año, y con respecto al trabajo, como kilos obtenidos por tripulante por día marea y año. Se identificaron dos períodos: 2001-2009 La década de la ordenación pesquera y 2010-2015 Consolidación del Régimen de Cuotas Individuales Transferibles de Captura - CITC. Se comparan los resultados de estos períodos con el comprendido entre 1990-2000 analizados en Bertolotti et al., 2001. En esta primera parte se calcularon estrictamente las productividades físicas sin establecer relaciones precisas con otras variables explicativas como: abundancias de las especies objetivo, tamaño de los buques (estratificación), componentes principales de la estructura de costos (ej. combustible) y composición de la flota por grupo empresario.
