El tema PyMEs en la asignatura Economía del Turismo

Abstract

La economía constituye un área de conocimiento muy importante para los licenciados en turismo, aunque no siempre los contenidos de las asignaturas económicas se ajustan a las necesidades de los futuros profesionales. El objetivo de la ponencia es analizar la importancia del tema pymes como articulador de los núcleos temáticos de la asignatura economía del turismo. La indagación teórica refleja el rol central de las pymes en la teoría del desarrollo local, su vinculación con las políticas que apuntan a fortalecer la competitividad sistémica y su relación directa con el emprendedorismo. El encuadre metodológico es el estudio de caso, ya que se describe el tratamiento del tema en la carrera Licenciatura en Turismo (UNMdP), a partir de encuestas a estudiantes y graduados, y entrevistas a docentes de diferentes asignaturas. Los resultados reflejan la necesidad de adaptar los contenidos curriculares al contexto real de desempeño de los futuros profesionales.
