Consumo responsable: análisis del consumidor de Mar del Plata y su comportamiento con el medio ambiente

Abstract

En la presente tesina, se estudia el consumo responsable de la población urbana de Mar del Plata, considerando los hábitos sustentables relacionados al cuidado del medio ambiente. Asimismo, se analizan las elecciones de alimentos y la adopción de hábitos que propician una vida saludable. Tomando datos provenientes de una encuesta sobre alimentación y hábitos saludables, relevada a 505 individuos marplatenses, durante el año 2014, bajo un diseño muestral probabilístico, primero se realizó un análisis descriptivo que permitió distinguir a los consumidores con hábitos sustentables de aquellos sin hábitos sustentables, conforme variables destacadas por la literatura especializada. Luego, se aplicaron Métodos Estadísticos Multivariados -Análisis Factorial y Análisis de Conglomerados- a fin de segmentar a los consumidores responsables. Entre los principales resultados, se destacan que existen diferencias estadísticamente significativas entre ambos grupos de consumidores y que aquellas personas con mayor nivel educativo y mayor edad se encuentran más proclives a seguir un estilo de vida sustentable.
