Industria argentina: ¿tan diversa como su territorio?

Abstract

La diversidad es una característica estructural del vasto territorio argentino. Desde el norte hasta el sur del país podemos encontrar un panorama disímil de paisajes, recursos y actividades productivas. La dimensión territorial tiene especial relevancia en el análisis económico, por ello el Grupo de Análisis Industrial, perteneciente a la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Sociales (Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata), estudia la diversificación de la industria argentina de 1996 a 2012, a partir de un abordaje regional. Se considera que una provincia más diversificada es aquella en la que el empleo está distribuido en un amplio abanico de ramas de actividad.
