El modelo de coordinación en red: agentes y funciones

Abstract

Unas décadas atrás, el modelo de producción agropecuario se caracterizaba por unidades de producción integradas, dónde el trigo y el maíz eran los protagonistas. El tiempo ha pasado y con él una fuerte transformación se percibe en el sector agropecuario. Dicha transformación abarca -al menos- tres dimensiones: cultivos, organización de la producción y consumidores. Se considera que el rol de la segunda resulta clave para comprender la evolución del sector. Así, el objetivo principal del presente trabajo consiste en caracterizar el modelo de producción agraria actual e identificar sus principales bloques de agentes y funciones. Se observa que en la actualidad existen múltiples actores interrelacionados en diversos sentidos, quienes conforman una red de relaciones. Existen, al menos, cuatro de bloques de agentes: 1) propietarios de la tierra, 2) empresas de producción agropecuaria, 3) contratistas de servicios y, 4) proveedores de insumos y/o servicios.
