Evolución del entorno de negocios y análisis económico de la producción de aceite de oliva virgen extra en el Sudoeste Bonaerense

Abstract

El Sudoeste Bonaerense (SOB) es una región agropecuaria marginal en donde se desarrolla la olivicultura para aceite logrando un producto de alta calidad. El artículo muestra dos problemas de la actividad en la región durante los últimos años: i) es una actividad rentable solo si opera agregando valor con una venta mayoritariamente en el mercado interno y; ii) las posibilidades de colocación el mercado externo se vieron afectadas positivamente por el ajuste del tipo de cambio que hizo el actual gobierno, sumado a la existencia de varios programas nacionales de promoción de las exportaciones argentinas con valor agregado.
