El pensamiento desarrollista en una perspectiva histórica

Abstract

La ponencia se propone establecer los lineamientos del pensamiento desarrollista en la Argentina, desde la perspectiva de la historia de las ideas. La tarea es vasta y se trata de las primeras aproximaciones al tema. Por lo general, la historiografía sobre el desarrollismo se ha limitado a citar los tópicos ideológicos postulados por Frondizi y Frigerio y confrontarlo con la realidad de su época, especialmente con la acción concreta de gobierno desplegada entre los años 1958 y 1962. Este trabajo, en cambio, rastrea las influencias intelectuales en el nivel filosófico y de política económica nacional e internacional, procurando establecer los eslabonamientos hacia atrás. Frente a posiciones que postulan que lo único que debe hacer el estadista es reaccionar a los estímulos de la realidad -representada ésta en las fuerzas del mercado, en las presiones internas o en la acción de los actores internacionales- sostengo que la formación intelectual y la maduración de las ideas de manera libre, son un factor fundamental para entender el ejercicio del poder.
