Valoración de la biomasa explotable de los efectivos de merluza (Merluccius hubbsi) norte y sur de 41ºS

Abstract

Para realizar las estimaciones del valor económico anual de la biomasa explotable de la merluza, se utilizó un modelo específico sobre la base del valor primario y del valor agregado generado por la pesquería de la República Argentina y de la República Oriental del Uruguay. Los enfoques de valor primario y valor agregado permitieron estimar el valor para el efectivo en la situación real de explotación y para la situación en los niveles de explotación de 1993. Sobre la base del valor agregado se estimó una pérdida del valor de la biomasa del efectivo norte de U$S 75.250.263 y del efectivo sur de U$S 89.335.966. Para generalizar la valoración de biomasas de especies comerciales de vida larga será necesario reducir los costos de información y construir índices específicos de valor agregado primario y secundario para las principales especies comerciales.
