Expresiones e inquietudes de los jóvenes. Un recorrido exploratorio sobre temáticas que los involucran

Abstract

Los jóvenes están inmersos en un escenario de cambios y en ese contexto hay discusión en torno a qué es ser joven y cómo se vive siendo joven, a la vez que se evidencia preocupación sobre sus dificultades de inserción laboral e insuficiente formación. Así, luego de entender la importancia que supone el acercamiento al universo juvenil, para que éste exprese su pareceres y lecturas particulares y personales de temáticas de su interés proponemos como objetivo para este trabajo validar un instrumento de recolección de datos que puede utilizarse de manera auto-administrada para explorar en opiniones y expresiones de jóvenes vinculadas a qué es ser joven y cómo se percibe a la juventud; cuestiones vinculadas al trabajo, la educación y el acceso a nuevas tecnologías; y finalmente temáticas que tienen que ver con la violencia, el consumo de drogas y la discriminación juvenil. Para ello se entregó una encuesta construida a tal fin a jóvenes entre 18 y 30 años cuyo análisis de resultados confirmó la validez del instrumento dada la alta tasa de respuesta equivalente al cien por ciento.
