La asociatividad como medio de superar la crisis sectorial. El caso de las lanchas amarillas descubiertas en el Puerto de Mar del Plata

Abstract

El puerto de Mar del Plata, está atravesando una de las peores crisis de su historia y especialmente el sector de lanchas costeras (las lanchas amarillas descubiertas) cuya actividad es totalmente artesanal y los avances tecnológicos fueron utilizados en forma muy limitada. Esta situación lo expone en una desventaja competitiva ante la captura el recurso pesquero. Nuestro objetivo ha sido detectar mediante el estudio de campo que grado de asociatividad, actual o potencial, puede existe entre los miembros del sector. Conocer cuales son las expectativas e intereses para poder comprender la visión y así delinear las alternativas para su desarrollo estratégico. Ofrecer las posibles soluciones a la situación de crisis existente, aprovechando además los análisis técnicos realizados por investigadores de la Facultad de Ciencias Económicas y Sociales de la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata y por especialistas calificados del INIDEP.
