Responsabilidad social empresaria: una propuesta para operacionalizar el concepto en empresas PyMEs

Abstract

Este trabajo surge a partir de un proyecto de investigación aprobado en la UNICEN (Universidad Nacional del Centro) en el año 2005. Busca identificar pocos, pero indiscutibles indicadores que permitan al empresario PyME operacionalizar el concepto de Responsabilidad Social Empresaria (RSE). Con este objetivo y con base en los cuestionarios existentes en la literatura, es que tomamos algunos de los indicadores que nos parecen sustanciales para definir el perfil de las empresas en relación a su vinculación con la RSE, como también con aquellos para los que puedan tener información. El instrumento propuesto, sus resultados y análisis intentan ser una aproximación a los balances sociales que las grandes empresas elaboran y una alternativa relativamente sencilla, de bajo costo en su implementación, que podría empezar a cubrir el bache existente entre las acciones que realizan las empresas y las que comunican formal y periódicamente a los interesados, a la comunidad y a los mercados en general.
