Abstract

La política de producto permite a la empresa ofrecer en el mercado los bienes o servicios que aquél exige, convirtiéndose en el motor para la creación de riqueza. Las empresas, para llevar a cabo sus objetivos, diseñan planes generales para cada línea de producto que expresan la posibilidad de que los usuarios alcancen, a través de los productos de la empresa, el grado de satisfacción máxima necesaria para que la empresa supere a la competencia y se convierta en hegemónica en el sector. Esta posibilidad, que recibe el nombre de fiabilidad, es el eje central de toda política de producto.
