Durkheim. La metáfora biológica y la práctica científica

Abstract

El empleo de la metáfora como estrategia de explicación y comprensión en la obra de Durkheim pone de manifiesto las tensiones epistemológicas propias del momento histórico en que vivió. Con el fin de analizar algunos de los aspectos que conforman su modo de producir conocimiento en el ámbito de la sociología, tendremos en cuenta la noción de "práctica científica" propuesta por Philipe Kitcher al describir las características de la ciencia en el período decimonónico.
