Valoración económica del Humedal de la Bahía de Samborombón

Abstract

Se presentan los resultados de la investigación La valoración del Humedal de la Bahía Samborombón como instrumento para gestión integrada de zonas costeras y mecanismo para promover el desarrollo sostenible. El diagnóstico se realiza desde la perspectiva sistémica del manejo integrado de zonas costeras, teniendo en cuenta los diferentes subsistemas que lo conforman: el medio biofísico (subsistema natural y subsistema construido) y la organización social (subsistema jurídico institucional, subsistema social y subsistema productivo) y sus relaciones de oferta y demanda de recursos y condiciones ambientales. Se analiza la valoración económica como un instrumento para la gestión y se proponen los métodos más idóneos para el caso y su situación. Se concluye con el planteo de las posibilidades y restricciones para la consecución del desarrollo sostenible del humedal de la Bahía Samborombón, de acuerdo con la disponibilidad del recurso y las políticas explícitas de conservación y las contradicciones implícitas en la planificación de la región.
