Abstract

La historia económica reciente de nuestro país registra tres oportunidades que hicieron temer el desborde del proceso inflacionario en lo que se denomina "hiperinflación". La primera de ellas fue durante la segunda mitad de 1958, la segunda durante los dos últimos trimestres de 1975 y los dos primeros de 1976 y la tercera es la que estamos experimentando actualmente, iniciada a partir del segundo trimestre de 1981.
