El mercado de papa: un estudio cuantitativo

Abstract

El propósito de este trabajo es analizar cuantitativamente las principales variables relacionadas con el mercado de papa de nuestro país y, especialmente, del sudeste de la Pcia. de Buenos Aires. Se analizan las series de producción, área sembrada, precios y rendimiento con los procedimientos estadísticos habituales y se calculan las fluctuaciones debidas a la tendencia y la estacionalidad, así como a elasticidad de la demanda con respecto al precio y al ingreso. También se incluyen tres modelos econométricos multiecuacionales, los cuales fueron construidos con el objeto de pronosticar las variables analizadas.
